What a fantastic afternoon we had at the Porth Hotel in Llandysul as volunteers from Arts for Wellbeing and Llandysul a Phont-Tyweli Ymlaen / Dolen Teifi came together to celebrate Volunteers’ Week.
Funded by CAVO, the event recognised the incredible contribution volunteers make to our communities every day. Whether supporting community transport, local projects, wellbeing activities or helping people stay connected, volunteers make a real difference.
Guests enjoyed a lovely lunch, good company and a range of creative activities organised by Arts for Wellbeing. One of the highlights of the afternoon was a fantastic ukulele performance from one of the volunteers, which was enjoyed by everyone.
As a small token of appreciation, each volunteer received a potted plant to take home as a thank you for their dedication and commitment.
Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. Every day they help people attend medical appointments, access community activities, maintain social connections and remain independent within their local communities. Their commitment helps build stronger, more connected communities across Ceredigion, Carmarthenshire and North Pembrokeshire.
We would also like to extend a special thank you to **Sarah and Mike from Arts for Wellbeing** for helping to organise and deliver the event, and to **CAVO** for their support and funding. Your contribution helped make the day such a success and a fitting celebration of our wonderful volunteers.
A huge thank you to all our volunteers. Without your support, many of the services, activities and opportunities we provide simply would not be possible.
Thank you for everything you do.
