Transport to Health Connect

outline map of the three counties of Ceredigion, Carmarthenshire, PembrokeshireGetting to appointments, clinics, shopping, social activities or visiting family and friends is not always easy in rural areas. Public transport can be limited, and not everyone has access to a car or someone who can drive them.

This page has been created to help people find transport options across the Hywel Dda University Health Board area, Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, and Pembrokeshire.

Whether you are trying to get to a hospital appointment, a local clinic, the shops, or simply stay connected with your community, there may be services available to help.

We have brought together information about:

  • Community transport services
  • Hospital transport options
  • Dial-a-ride and accessible transport
  • Volunteer driver schemes
  • Bus and public transport information
  • Local transport contacts and support organisations

Some services are available to everyone, while others may depend on where you live, your mobility needs, or the type of journey you need to make.

From community transport and volunteer drivers to hospital transport and local bus services, we hope this page helps you find the right option for your journey.
